The Studio of Miss Carolyne DalMonte offers consciouscaring, and individually-tailored voice lessons for all-ages. Her particular passion is leading students back to their true voice in order to inspire the most natural and optimized sound.  Through her significant investment in the students’ appreciation of their own gifts, students  find confidence and creativity in all aspects of their lives.  She truly feels that each voice is a unique creation, only to be handled with the best of care.  

Since opening her private studio in 2013, Miss DalMonte has encouraged the growth of her students, no matter how big or small their goals, with energy and enthusiasm. She draws on her wealth of musical experience  and growing singing career to guide her teaching.   She welcomes students of all ages, backgrounds, and education levels.

Miss DalMonte's students have been featured in numerous lead roles in school productions as well as lead roles in professional community theatre performances. She has also had first place winners in local and national competitions. Just a few include the NYSSMA (New York) competition, the SCVA solo competition (Southern California) NATS San Diego, Cal-Western Regionals, and Nationals.  They are also leaders in community choirs, college choirs, and sensitive artists with bright futures.  

 

qualifications

Miss DalMonte is currently serving as the President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (San Diego chapter), and belongs to the Chicago chapter as a member.  Since her move to Chicago’s South Loop, Miss DalMonte has been thrilled to music direct “Anastasia” at Jones College Prep (2022).  She has taught students from many different communities, bringing her creative and inspiring teaching style to La Jolla, New York City, and Chicago. Miss DalMonte maintains an active schedule as a professional classical soprano; her professional performance experience positively influences her voice lessons every day.  

She is a graduate of the University of Delaware (BM Vocal Performance, cum laude) and the prestigious Westminster Choir College (MM Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, with Honors).
